Venue Capacity rules and non-admittance to the event : Each venue location will have a maximum capacity that we are legally allowed inside the room. The event organisers will never over-sell tickets to any event. For this reason, tickets purchased prior to the event registration day / start of the event will have priority over tickets wishing to be purchased on the day of the event. Remember that there are specific capacity rules which we have to follow according to the Russian Federation health and safety laws that apply. Should we reach the maximum capacity at any event, we will stop the sale of tickets (where allowed or applicable) and will not allow you entry unless you have a valid ticket that was purchased prior to the decision of the event organisers to stop selling tickets. 3.02 – Right of entry The event organiser reserves the right to refuse you entry to, and or eject you from the event. The decision of the event organisers is final. Should you have any issue with their decision you are welcome to take it up in writing with Craig Koekemoer by email in Russian or in English. 3.03 – Advertised timings All advertised times are approximate and subject to change. It is your responsibility to make appropriate arrangements to ensure that you arrive at the event(s) with sufficient additional time, in case the event(s) starts early. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you are able to stay until the scheduled event(s) closing time. From time to time the event(s) ending time might over-run due to unforeseen circumstances. It is entirely your choice to stay until the end of the event(s) in case it overruns. We will not be held responsible for making any refund, or to meet the costs associated with any travel arrangements, or for any loss of enjoyment or other indirect loss as a result of an event(s) not running to the precise scheduled and advertised times. 3.04 – Consent to Filming and Photography By attending the event(s), you give your express consent to your actual or simulated likeness being included within any film, photograph, audio and or audiovisual recording to be exploited in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world, the copyright to which shall be owned by the event organiser, or it’s contractors or clients without payment or compensation. Second violation If you are found a second time violating this condition, the event organiser reserves the right to exclude you from the event, without being liable for any loss of enjoyment or expenditure on your part as a result of you not being able to continue to attend the event. If you are excluded from the event(s) for violating this condition, you waive your right to any refund (in part or in full) of the face value of the ticket(s) to attend the event(s). You also waive your right to being able to attend any further event organised by the event organiser. 3.08 – Merchandise purchased at the event The event organiser will not take any responsibility for any issues relating to any merchandise or services purchased at the event(s). Any merchandise, services or other purchases made through third parties at the event(s), are the responsibility of such third party, and any fault, complaints, refunds or any other matters should be directed to the third party to whom the payment was made to. 3.09 – Personal Data Collection / Mass Collection of Data You are free to communicate with all the attendees, participants and other persons at the event. We want to make it clear that we do not allow the mass collection of data or personal data of attendees of the event. Any violation of this term could possibly breach the law on data collection and protection as set out in the laws of the Russian Federation, also possibly breach European Data Protection rules. You are not authorised without the express written consent of the event organiser to mass collect :
These details for example could include (but is not limited to) :
The event organisers deem the mass collection of data to be any attempt to walk around, build a list, collect business cards, create chat groups (on social media platforms or other services) of anything more than 3 attendees or persons. Where permission to network is given by the event organisers, this will be expressly communicated in writing / email and or at the start of any event, and then the conditions in this clause would be temporarily suspended for that event only. 3.10 – Medical conditions We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for you to enjoy the event(s). With this in mind, it is our priority to make available any assistance to medical professionals where required, should there be an emergency which affects your health. To this aim, we ask that if you are prescribed any medicine by a medical professional (qualified doctor etc.) that you continue to take such medication unless specifically instructed to halt your treatment, either by the same medical professional, or on the advice of another suitably qualified medical practitioner. Neither the event organisers, nor anyone else associated as part of the event team, will instruct you to stop any treatment that was prescribed by your medical professional. We would also ask that you notify the event organisers in person, if at the start of the event, you are taking any prescription or non prescription medicines as advised by your medical professional. We ask this in case a situation arises where you are incapacitated due to a medical emergency, and we are required to assist first responders with any medical history that might be available about your condition. Should you be pregnant, we require that you inform the event organisers, prior to attending the event. We know that stress can have an undesired effect on a pregnancy so we would like to hope that we can provide you any assistance to reduce any stresses that might be experienced during registration, or attendance of the event. 3.11 – Respect We aim to promote an environment of safety and respect for everyone attending or associated with the event. We ask that you remember to be respectful to everyone in what you say and what you do. Your actions and your words should be considerate towards others. This includes the use of perfumes before, during or after the event, which could affect the ability for others to enjoy the event. (Not everyone has the same likes or dislikes with regards to smells.) We advise using very little or weak perfumes to avoid any conflicts with others. We also ask that you consider your food choices, and that you do not bring
into the event hall. Remember that smells do have the ability to cause people to become ill, so we ask that you remember this and be considerate towards others. 3.12 – Minimum attendance requirement Specific events might have minimum requirements set for attendance, in order to receive certification or attendance certificates. It is your responsibility to make sure you know what the minimum attendance requirements are for the event you wish to attend, if such requirements are applicable. 3.13 – Advertising or Marketing your own products or services Advertising or marketing your own services or products during the event, either inside the event hall or in the hotel or event location is not permitted, as this contravenes the regulations of the event location. The event organisers will be held liable for your actions, and if the event locations management team require payment for utilising their spaces for your commercial gain, you will be directly responsible for any fee charged. Likewise the sales of any of your products on the premises of the event location is not permitted, as this would breach the contract with the event location, and could possibly result in either the tax authorities or the local police being called to investigate. If this were to happen then you would be brining the reputation of THInK, the event organisers and other associated contractors and parties into disrepute, which would not be viewed very lightly. If the event is promoted as a networking event you will be able to bring your own personal business cards to the event, and distribute them to anyone who asks. You will need the express written notice and consent by the event organisers to distribute any business cards. At no stage will you be authorised to distribute any pamphlets or marketing materials in the event location (including the hotel or event hall). 04 - Your CommitmentThis information applies to terms and conditions included here which are specific to your own actions 4.01 – Running your own seminars The event organisers have put in a great deal of time, effort and also committed a substantial amount of money to put on these events. We are under contract with THInK and that means we have certain obligations to follow. Running your own seminars at the event location :
Specific agreements, contracts and laws that apply :
Possible actions that could occur : If you do not have the express written consent of :
And if you are found to be running your own seminar, event or meeting in the event location without the express written permission of all 3 of the above parties, then :
Remember that all effort to run these event(s) have been made to give an opportunity to ThetaHealers to attend specific seminars or events associated with the visit to Russia of the representative of THInK (in this case Vianna Stibal). If you were to unethically gain financial advantage without the express written permission from the 3 parties involved in running the event(s) then you possible face several different actions against you, which is not in the spirit of what is aimed with the event(s) being held. THInK, the event organisers and the event location team have put in time, effort and money to create a safe and reliable space for the event(s) to occur – so it would not be right for you to get an unfair advantage without also committing or providing some sort of support (time / effort or money) towards gathering all the attendees for the event(s).
4.02 – Selling your own products Please refer to clause 4.01 above, with regards to the relevant contracts, laws and agreements that have been made. We require that you agree to the following additional conditions which also apply – specifically to the selling of your own products etc. :
If you sold any products or merchandise on the premises of the event location (or hotel including but not limited to your own hotel room), then it places both you and the event organisers at risk of breaching specific contracts, agreements and also Russian Federation laws. We ask that you consider your actions before you do something that could lead to legal or civil action against yourself, the event organisers, the event location and THInK. |
